Sharing the Meal (18??)
by
Byron Webb

Webb (fl. 1846 - 1866) was the son of the noted landscape and marine painter Archibald Webb; his brother James was also an artist. Byron Webb was known particularly for his hunting and horse paintings, along with his depictions of deer in the Scottish Highlands.

The dog behind the horse is surely a Landseer Newfoundland.
