The Corp of Discovery
by
Sabra Tull Meyer

Sabra Tull Meyer is an American sculptor. This bronze, unveiled in 2008, is installed on the grounds of the Missouri state capital in Jefferson City, Missouri, USA.

Included in this work are York, Lewis, Seaman, Clark, and Drouillard. (George Druillard [1773–1810] was one of the civilian members of the Corp of Discovery, hired for the expedition by Lewis on account of Druillard's language skills — Druillard, of Shawnee and French parentage, was proficient in Shawnee, French, English, and the sign language used among Native American tribes — and his prowess as a hunter.)
