[ Daub / We Proceeded On ]


This bronze bas-relief, created by the noted American sculptor Eugene Daub (b. 1942) and unveiled in 2006, shows a camping scene during the expedition of Lewis & Clark. It features a number of figures of the Corps of Discovery including Clark (standing with sextant), Lewis, Sacagawea, and of course Seaman. This work is installed in the State Senate building in Helena, Montana, USA, and shows a scene set in the High Falls area east of Great Falls, Montana.
